10 day cleanse schedule

Results:
I have finally lost my 20 lbs!!!
Yay!

I need some freshening up so I am starting a 10 day cleanse today.
Several people question how it works and if you actually get to eat, Yes you do!

Now, I am not trying to lose weight on this cleanse just "freshening" up.
If I were going a little more hard core to lose weight I would have tweaked my dinners with a heary salad with grilled ck.

I am going to give a detailed journal of my next 10 days.

Day 1
  • 7:15am 1/2 a banana & my peaches & cream fiber drink +20 oz of water
  • 9:00am 1 hr run/walk +20 oz of water
  • 10:00am rice cake & carrots w/ a little ranch +20 oz of water
  • 11:00am steamed yellow & green zuchinni
  • 12:30am small salad
  • 1:00pm sugar free Bahamma Bucks (um, yep not recommended, but i couldn't resist:)
  • 3:30pm rice cake +20 oz of water
  • 5:30pm whole wheat pasta with ck & pesto +20 oz of water
  • 6:45pm forgot to take my fish oil this morning. I took 1 omegaplex
  • 8:30pm 20 oz of water
So not a great day on my food intake, but whatever. I just have a no sugar head ache not, but i knew that was coming. it's not too bad.

Day 2
  • 6:30am Fiber drink & apple +40 oz of water
  • 7:30am 15 min slow walk
  • 8:30 2 rice cakes +20 oz of water
  • Went grocery shopping, I almost caved a few times on "kinda" healthy stuff, but I resisted!
  • 2:30 handful of almonds
  • 3:00pm 2 wraps -wheat tortilla's with natural pb and blueberries +20 oz of water
  • 3:30pm fish oil 2- Omegaplex + 20 oz of water
  • 6:00pm "pizza" wheat tortilla, topped with fresh tomato, bell pepper, & black olives. sprinkled some Italian seasoning over it and baked. YUMMO! +20 oz of water.
  • 8:00pm apricot, cleanse tablets (forgot to take them last night-whoops) +20 oz water
Felt better for sure about my food intake today. Of course just started another small sugar withdrawal headache. I plan on one more night of a headache before my body can get over the fact that it doesn't need sugar.

Day 3
  • 6:15am fiber drink and blue berries +20 oz of water
  • 7:30am wrap: wheat tortilla, natural pb and strawberries +20 oz of water
  • 11:00am birthday party: wheat english muffin pizza, no cheese & small box of raisins
  • 12:00pm ck wrap: wheat tortilla, ck w/ greek yogurt, seasoning, pickles, avocado, spinach, and a side of snap peas +20 oz of water
  • 2:30pm almonds and blueberries +20 oz of water
  • 4:30pm bf & veggie stew - I ate too much:( +20 oz of water
  • 9:00pm cleanse tablets +20 oz of water
No head ache tonight. Yay! p.s. down 3 lbs

Day 4
  • 7:00am kiwi & blackberries +20 oz of water
  • 9:00am almonds and blueberries +20 oz of water
  • 11:30am ck wrap (see details on day 3) +20 oz of water
  • 3:00pm almonds+20 oz of water
  • 5:30pm bean burro on wheat tortilla. very very light on the beans and heavy on lettuce, tomatoes, black olives & avocado.
  • 7:30pm tortilini sp? soup (i cheated a little cause it was amazing!) and green salad with a little ranch (cheated again) i was at a Bunco party
  • 10:30pm Cleanse tablets +20 oz of water
Felt really good today and am down 1 more lb.

Day 5
  • 8:00am blueberry & pb wrap, black plum +20 oz of water
  • 2:30pm ck salad wrap and carrot sticks +20 oz of water
  • 3:30pm handful of almonds
  • 6:00pm 2 burrito's: Wheat tortilla with black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, mango. +20 oz of water
feeling great!

Day 6
  • 7:30am Apricot +20 oz of water
  • 10:00am almonds & plum
  • 12:30pm black bean burrito (see day 5)
  • 3:30pm sugar free applesauce cup
  • 4:00pm almonds & plum +20 oz of water
  • 5:00pm 2 wheat wraps with pb & strawberries + 40 oz of water
  • 7:00 date night (care free) spinach dip, caesar salad & small frozen yogurt
Day 7
  • 20 oz of water
  • 12:00 ck salad on wheat flat bun with raw veggies on the side + 20 oz of water

Finished the challenge, just got to lazy/busy to document the rest. I started running walking 3-4 miles everyday and i'm feeling great!

My 2nd Challenge

ok, so I was going to start another challenge a couple weeks ago, but on day 2 of the cleanse I realized that with my anniversary plans I wanted to be carefree, so held off.

So I am starting today & I am really excited. I'm feeling good & I am ready to feel even better:)

Weighing in at 150 lbs
This is pretty much the best pic I could get with my lens & no timer.

I gained 3 lbs back since my last challenge pretty much because I was slacking, & considering all my slacking, I'm impressed only 3 lbs came back. Besides it was just the water weight anyways.

I will make a daily journal entry logging my food & exercise.

Dinner: wasn't hungry at all but had a little potato salad
(prob shouldn't have eaten it, but I did)

Day 6: not a great day today, it was really busy.
I munched on 4 caramel rice cakes all day.
then for dinner we got panda express.
Seriously I was telling myself "don't do this!" then entire time, but after a long day with clients, busted sink pipes, urgent care visits with kids, I was pooped and really didn't care...... until now that it's 9:15pm and I feel like poop from that lousy dinner:(

Exercise: Went on a family walk, 1 mile

March 16th Day 9: ok, so life is busy and stressful so Day 7 & 8 are now forgotten
And when I am stressed I don't eat. Actually this is a new habit. I used to eat when I am stressed and it has kinda reversed itself. Makes losing weight a whole lot easier, however I think I could do with out the stress. I think some shopping today will make things all better :)
Breakfast: Strawberries
Lunch: Still not in the mood to eat, Maybe I will make a shake so I get something in my body.
Dinner:Veggies & ck

Exercise: Went for a family walk/run to the park- 1 1/2 miles
+ went for an evening run-2 miles

End of the day: 144.4 lbs

Snack: yep, i will admit it 2 small sugar cookies
Dinner: A pot luck of corned bf & cabbage, cheesy potatoes, salads, and yes I had a few bites of brownie cake

I am 1 lb away from losing 20 lbs!

Ok i forgot to take my MNS pack today and I'm deciding if I even want to start it again. I may just save it because I think the training it did for me has stuck and I am making the healthy decisions all on my own. Yay!

Soooo life has been busy. If anyone is even reading this, sorry I haven't been great at my updating.
I have decided to finish after the cleanse because I am pretty much rocking this, catalyst & spark are what I will be taking for now.
I am maintaining my 19 lbs weightloss! Yay
I want to make it 20 lbs, just because how fun is that to say. "I have lost 20 lbs!"

10 days to prepare......

Started myself on another cleanse today.
Plus continuing catalyst and what ever else I have lying around... ie shakes, spark, of course fish oil....

Maintaining

It has been freezing outside, hence no exercising.
The weekend was hit hard with parties with lots of treats.
I wasn't stupid, but I wasn't smart either, I was just relaxed.

I have been diligent in taking my Catalyst & OmegaPlex.
Well, kinda diligent, like 3-4 every other day.

I have maintained my weight loss.

With it warming back up, I am on a mission to lose 5 more lbs.
So lets go running with a few pits stops at the park to play I'm sure:)

My 24 Day Challenge

The challenge is over and I am a new Jen!
See my results are below.
I took these in the middle of the day because I wanted to know my results for a mixer I threw that day. (Which 3 of my neighbors signed up for the challenge.) I weighed in again that night and was down 2 ounces which was awesome because it made it exactly 15 lbs.

Busy day and then went on a much needed date with the Hubby and was care free.
Ate my favorite spinach artichoke dip, half a grilled ck club and a few fries.
um, all i can say is I kinda enjoyed it, but not enough to do It very often.
Weighed myself when I got home, before all digested.

(TMI: i think my monthly visitor is fast approaching).

My goal for the challenge was 12 lbs... now I guess i will just keep going for the remaining 10 days.

Dinner - spinach salad with avocado & blackberries & 2 bites of spaghetti (the best spaghetti I have ever made)

Today I made sure I ate enough
For example:
A little Taebo in the AM
Breakfast - Fried egg with sauteed peppers
Snack - Orange
Lunch - Tuna on rice crackers with pickles

Dinner - Chicken Chili (i ate 2 helpings, I know I know, it was just really good :) and I thought it was going to totally throw me over so I went for a run after dinner)
and of course taking all my vitamins throughout the day.

It was a very busy day and I seemed to be rushing through everything and didn't eat enough.

Ate some oatmeal in the mid-morning really kick started my day.

Day 2 - January 7th 2011

Woke up feeling awesome! I already totally feel my skin in my torso and everywhere else tightening.

Plugged my nose when drinking my 8 oz fiber drink and was able to chug it all before ever smelling it. Yay!

The appetite suppressor still working really well.

Started getting a major headache in the afternoon and was severe by evening. after ibuprofen & a nap I was ok.

Today went well. The morning fiber drink was so gross! I added water to dilute it, Bad idea! Tomorrow I will only use the 8 oz required so there is less to drink. p.s. The fiber worked cleaning me out w/in 20 minutes.


Did really well at my food intake & ran 1 mile. Tomorrow I need to make it at least 2 miles.

I am going through withdrawals already, prob mostly from the sugar. It's giving me a head ache

I am feeling a little weak and kinda light headed, maybe I should have eaten a little more.

Overall it was a successful day.
