My 2nd Challenge

ok, so I was going to start another challenge a couple weeks ago, but on day 2 of the cleanse I realized that with my anniversary plans I wanted to be carefree, so held off.

So I am starting today & I am really excited. I'm feeling good & I am ready to feel even better:)

Weighing in at 150 lbs
This is pretty much the best pic I could get with my lens & no timer.

I gained 3 lbs back since my last challenge pretty much because I was slacking, & considering all my slacking, I'm impressed only 3 lbs came back. Besides it was just the water weight anyways.

I will make a daily journal entry logging my food & exercise.

Oh to be in the 130's again would be my dream. My goal may be far stretched, but I am going to try. I was there for my wedding day so I can be there agin, right?

Day 1: Breakfast: chocolate Advocare shake with 1/2 banana
Lunch: orange & raisins - ya, I know it was a busy day
Dinner: spinach salad, w/ yellow peppers, avocado, & sliced almonds with fat free ginger sesame vinaigrette.
Snack: orange

Didn't have/make time to exercise

End of the day: 148.6 lbs

Day 2: Breakfast: chocolate Advocare shake with 1/2 banana
Lunch: Mixed green salad with blackberries, avocado, sliced almonds & fat free ginger sesame vinaigrette.
Dinner: Steak, yellow squash, & green beans.

Again, not a good exercising day
tomorrow, I promise myself I will.

Day 3: Breakfast: 1/2 oatmeal and lots of strawberries, Yum!
Lunch: blackberry & Natural pb on wheat wrap & orange
Snack: 2 caramel rice cakes
Dinner: Sweet potato & asparagus (I was too lazy to cook anything)
Snack: orange

Exercise: went on 2 walks/runs today total: 3 1/2 miles

End of the day: 146.2 lbs

Went out of town to work at the family ranch

Day 4: Breakfast: Chocolate Advocare shake & 1 small banana
snack: caramel rice cake
Lunch: green salad with avocado & strawberries + (2 of Mom's homemade oatmeal raisin cookies, I couldn't resist)
Snack: blackberries
Dinner: grapes and A Wendy's ck sandwich, only 1 side of the bun and I dipped in honey mustard sauce.

Exercise: 4 hours of clearing fences- hard upper body labor

End of the day: 145.4 lbs

Day 5: Breakfast: blackberries & strawberries
Lunch: a plethora of stuff @ family party
broccoli salad, smoked pork, spinach salad, corn, bean chili. Yep ate a little too much, but it was all so good.
Dinner: wasn't hungry at all but had a little potato salad
(prob shouldn't have eaten it, but I did)

Exercise: None today

Day 6: not a great day today, it was really busy.
I munched on 4 caramel rice cakes all day.
then for dinner we got panda express.
Seriously I was telling myself "don't do this!" then entire time, but after a long day with clients, busted sink pipes, urgent care visits with kids, I was pooped and really didn't care...... until now that it's 9:15pm and I feel like poop from that lousy dinner:(

Exercise: Went on a family walk, 1 mile

March 16th Day 9: ok, so life is busy and stressful so Day 7 & 8 are now forgotten
And when I am stressed I don't eat. Actually this is a new habit. I used to eat when I am stressed and it has kinda reversed itself. Makes losing weight a whole lot easier, however I think I could do with out the stress. I think some shopping today will make things all better :)
Breakfast: Strawberries
Lunch: Still not in the mood to eat, Maybe I will make a shake so I get something in my body.
Dinner:Veggies & ck

Exercise: Went for a family walk/run to the park- 1 1/2 miles
+ went for an evening run-2 miles

End of the day: 144.4 lbs

Day 10: Breakfast: Chocolate shake
Lunch: Sweet pork over a spinach salad with black olives and diced tomatoes
Snack: yep, i will admit it 2 small sugar cookies
Dinner: A pot luck of corned bf & cabbage, cheesy potatoes, salads, and yes I had a few bites of brownie cake

No exercise today

End of the day: TO MY SURPRISE ! 143.6 LBS
I am 1 lb away from losing 20 lbs!

Ok i forgot to take my MNS pack today and I'm deciding if I even want to start it again. I may just save it because I think the training it did for me has stuck and I am making the healthy decisions all on my own. Yay!

Day 11: Breakfast: Ran out the door eating rice cakes

Soooo life has been busy. If anyone is even reading this, sorry I haven't been great at my updating.
I have decided to finish after the cleanse because I am pretty much rocking this, catalyst & spark are what I will be taking for now.
I am maintaining my 19 lbs weightloss! Yay
I want to make it 20 lbs, just because how fun is that to say. "I have lost 20 lbs!"

I promise you if you want to lose some weight before swim suit season and can't find a plan that works well for you. THIS IS IT!
I'll update again with some before & after pics with stats when I lose that last lb making it

My 24 Day Challenge

My 24 Day Challenge Results


The challenge is over and I am a new Jen!
See my results are below.
I took these in the middle of the day because I wanted to know my results for a mixer I threw that day. (Which 3 of my neighbors signed up for the challenge.) I weighed in again that night and was down 2 ounces which was awesome because it made it exactly 15 lbs.

Starting weight: 162.2
Ending weight: 147.2
Starting Inches count: 218
Ending inches count: 202.25

I didn't even use up all my products from the challenge. I still have a good amount left.
My plan now is to continue taking Fish oil & Catalyst. I learned that even though it only says to take 3 catalyst on the bottle, I need to be taking 5-6 to see that amazing results. Just because I can't contain my excitement any longer.
This is what I look like 12 lbs lighter!!!
(yes, i realize I am in a whole new outfit, I'm wearing makeup, & my hair is done, But none the less. I'm feeling great. **Not sucking in or anything :)**

Oh, but I'm still not done.

I still have 10 days left in the Advocare challenge and then I will post my official after pics and stats.

Ran twice today, didn't eat too well during the day because of a busy schedule.
Made sweet pork for dinner and topped it on my salad. Had 3 helpings- couldn't help myself :)

Day 21 - January 26th 2011
Did a lot of running today and ate really well. The evening was sure tempting to snack, but I held off.
Breakfast: Natural PB & berries on a wheat wrap.
Lunch: ck salad on wheat wrap with pickles

Dinner: steamed asparagus & cauliflower and a small pork chop

I think I got too excited about my 12 lbs lost and got too lazy.
it's back to work! (my time of the month is also approaching quickly & my allergies are off that wall, so that might be playing a part too)

Woke up with a GROSS feeling tummy, I knew this would happen, was it worth it? No! Maybe the spinach artichoke dip was, but NOT the club & Fries!

Day 17 - January 22nd 2011
Busy day and then went on a much needed date with the Hubby and was care free.
Ate my favorite spinach artichoke dip, half a grilled ck club and a few fries.
um, all i can say is I kinda enjoyed it, but not enough to do It very often.
Weighed myself when I got home, before all digested.

I was so nervous to weigh in today, because I was bloated all day.
(TMI: i think my monthly visitor is fast approaching).
However to my great surprise...

(now i can say I have officially lost 12 lbs. My starting weight was 162.2)
My goal for the challenge was 12 lbs... now I guess i will just keep going for the remaining 10 days.
Lets see if I can another lose 3 lbs!!!

Another AMAZING Day, I can't lie.
Breakfast - oatmeal with craisens & an orange
morning walk. 1/2 mile
snack - hum, i can't remember
Lunch - left over Chicken chili
Another walk, 1/2 mile
Snack - blackberries
Dinner - spinach salad with avocado & blackberries & 2 bites of spaghetti (the best spaghetti I have ever made)

Today I made sure I ate enough
For example:
A little Taebo in the AM
Breakfast - Fried egg with sauteed peppers
Snack - Orange
Lunch - Tuna on rice crackers with pickles
Snack - black berries & almonds
Dinner - Chicken Chili (i ate 2 helpings, I know I know, it was just really good :) and I thought it was going to totally throw me over so I went for a run after dinner)
and of course taking all my vitamins throughout the day.

It was a very busy day and I seemed to be rushing through everything and didn't eat enough.
( I seem to b stuck at this 153 and & slowly rising. I'm sure it's because I am not eating enough and my body it retaining everything. Goal tomorrow to eat more!)

Felt great today!
Didn't stress about finding an outfit that fit for church- Wow that's like unheard of.

Ate some oatmeal in the mid-morning really kick started my day.

I need to make sure I drink spark in the early afternoon to keep me going.

I don't think I am drinking enough water because I am getting headaches at the end of the day.

Day 2 - January 7th 2011

Woke up feeling awesome! I already totally feel my skin in my torso and everywhere else tightening.

Plugged my nose when drinking my 8 oz fiber drink and was able to chug it all before ever smelling it. Yay!

The appetite suppressor still working really well.

Started getting a major headache in the afternoon and was severe by evening. after ibuprofen & a nap I was ok.

Day 1 - January 6, 2011


Today went well. The morning fiber drink was so gross! I added water to dilute it, Bad idea! Tomorrow I will only use the 8 oz required so there is less to drink. p.s. The fiber worked cleaning me out w/in 20 minutes.


Did really well at my food intake & ran 1 mile. Tomorrow I need to make it at least 2 miles.

I am going through withdrawals already, prob mostly from the sugar. It's giving me a head ache

I am feeling a little weak and kinda light headed, maybe I should have eaten a little more.

Overall it was a successful day.
